After growing up in Western Tennessee, I proudly served as a SSGT in the United States Air Force – living both abroad as well as stateside. I quickly realized that the fast-paced lifestyle of living in large, congested metropolitan areas was not for me. While visiting the Deep Creek Lake area in the mid-2000s, I knew that I had found where I wanted to live. Eventually, my wife and I sold our Pittsburgh home then permanently moved to Deep Creek Lake in 2015. We could not be happier with that decision. Garrett County, MD is a beautiful area with wonderful people and a laid-back vibe. Tons to do, and tons to see. My wife and I are proud to call this wonderful county our “home”.
